Introduction

With the way the world is today it is imperative for people to stay connected but safe. In the olden days (2019 lol) we would gather at after work socials or bars/etc on the weekends.  This is not really possible these days due to Covid-19.  I’ve been hosting for several months a recurring Zoom call with a small group of folks that have been like family to me, but due to recent events I no longer have access to Zoom and we are now faced to find a new home, and what better time to expand the get together than now so we can all keep connected going forward.  A great friend Nick Howell had a super idea many moons ago of bringing all tech folks out from their individual silos and into a great melting pot so that we can collaborate on all topics from Enterprise tech all the way to working from home setups/advice.  this new home is called Discord.

OK so how do we stay connected on Discord.  well its pretty easy and here are some quick steps to get you connected.

1. Download Discord app for your platform of choice: https://discord.com/download
2. Join Orbital Jigsaw’s Discord channel: https://bit.ly/2H7pD13
3. once connected you must accept the Terms and Conditions of the channel:
   • Click rules under lobby to see the following
     
   • now accept the T & C check box to enable roles selection
     
     
     
   • Click on role-selection to expose additional channels. For vBeers only you don’t have to enable any other channel(s) but I highly encourage you to pick a few if not all as we’re trying to grow the community.

   • Now you can join us at 4PM EST by clicking on vBeers. Please enable your Mic and Camera when you join
